On 25th March 2010 West Midlands RDC hosted the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Conference at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
The event was attended by 166 professional staff involved in the delivery or development of the IAPT service wishing to celebrate and share in the success to date.
The day began with a welcome message from Jenny Dalloway, West Midlands IAPT Programme Consultant, followed by inspiring presentations from Professor Swaran Singh, Dr Amanda Gatherer, Kevin Heffernan and Mark Rayne highlighting the benefits of IAPT service now and in the future.
The day continued with delegates attending a range of workshops to learn from the implementation of IAPT Services in the West Midlands and discuss the success factors.
