Giles joined the Regional Development Centre in 2009 and is currently working on a regional analysis of services for
Older People with Mental Health problems.

He started his career working with the homeless in the Midlands.  He then worked in Australia for some years before relocating to London and working in the social housing sector. 

Most recently Giles was the CEO of a Local Mind Association.

He has a BSc from Warwick University and an MA from the Tavistock clinic.
