Introduction:
The existing CAMHS programme was established to support implementation of Standard 9 of the NSF for children, young people and maternity services. The programme also supports the delivery of the 5 outcomes of the Every Child Matters requirements in terms of emotional and mental health well being and PSA 12.

Regional activities for the year are:
- Support for CAMHS commissioners in the form of service level agreement and service specification templates, alongside individual.
- Support for the development of CAMHS Workforce plans for each CAMHS partnership
- Development of a CAMHS VRQ in partnership with Worcester University.
- Support in implementation of the Standard 9 review recommendations through the ongoing delivery of service improvement sessions at the CAMHS regional network and review of partnership CAMHS strategies.
- Delivery of local learning events to ensure sharing of good practice.
- CAMHS Leadership course
