CAMHS - Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

Introduction:

The existing CAMHS programme was established to support implementation of Standard 9 of the NSF for children, young people and maternity services. The programme also supports the delivery of the 5 outcomes of the Every Child Matters requirements in terms of emotional and mental health well being and PSA 12.

CAMHS Regional Network Annual Conference 2010

Regional activities for the year are:

  • Support for CAMHS commissioners in the form of service level agreement and service specification templates, alongside individual.
  • Support for the development of CAMHS Workforce plans for each CAMHS partnership
  • Development of a CAMHS VRQ in partnership with Worcester University.
  • Support in implementation of the Standard 9 review recommendations through the ongoing delivery of service improvement sessions at the CAMHS regional network and review of partnership CAMHS strategies.
  • Delivery of local learning events to ensure sharing of good practice.
  • CAMHS Leadership course
