IAPT Conference
'Celebrating Success, Sharing Best Practice'
25th March 2010, 9.30 - 4:00 pm at Wolverhampton Racecourse
Our target audience will be professional staff involved now, or likely to be in the future, in the delivery or development of the IAPT Service. The conference is to be opened by Professor Swaran Singh, Clinical and Social Care Lead for Mental Health NHS West Midlands.
This will be followed by a broad range of workshops highlighting the success factors and sharing experience and learning in the implementation of IAPT Services in the West Midlands.
The day should be stimulating and informative to anyone with an interest in this developing area.

Targeted Mental Health in Schools programme
The day is aimed at all professionals who are key to the delivery of the TaMHS pathfinder programme within local areas and are key to the sustainability of the good practice and innovative beyond March 2011
Workshop objectives
• have the opportunity to promote discussion and thinking around the subject of sustainability of TaMHS work
• showcase effective partnership and collaborative activity which deliver TaMHS
• provide a learning environment which enhances and encourages collaborative working, by bringing together services from different backgrounds
• bring together colleagues Health, Education, Social care and the Voluntary sector to gain shared understanding of policy and targets relevant to Children’s emotional wellbeing and mental health
• demonstrate service development and improvement by sharing good practice initiatives and experience
