Also at the 2010 regional IAPT conference Programme Specialists with the NHS West Midlands Regional Development Centre Kevin Heffernan and Mark Rayne ran a workshop demonstrating some of their recent work with IAPT service providers.
This included:
- A Low-Intensity Therapist sharing experiences of providing help through counselling and self-help advice, and
- The other workshop attendees writing their reactions to hearing the story (which reactions could later be themed and analysed).
As a failry quick demonstration of this narractive-sharing technique, a film of the Therpaist's Story and photographs of how the reactions were recorded are displayed below.
