A Specialist Library for Ethnicity and Health (SLEH) has been added to the National Library for Health. The aim of SLEH is to provide a point of reference for research evidence and guidance on best practice relating to the health of an ethnically diverse population. The Library will incorporate the best electronically available evidence for improved practice relevant to this aim. The collection will cover all aspects of health care delivery, from individual patient care to broader public health concerns, and include guidance on the design of health care services for diverse ethnic groups. It is hoped that this will assist the NHS and its affiliated bodies to tackle their obligations under the Race
Relations Amendment Act and help reduce inequality. To visit the Library click on the following link: Ethnicity and Health
The Social Perspectives Network aims to share work and information looking at Mental Health from a social perspective; to support people to put social perspectives into practice; and influence the development of Mental Health policy from a social perspective.
