Acute Care Network Meetings in the West Midlands
Between October 2008 and September 2009 there were three one day Region-wide workshops that addressed common themes identifed through the Healthcare Commission review of inpatient wards, they were:
- Sexual Safety and Women issues in Acute Mental Health Care(webpage and resources)
- Substance Misuse issues (webpage and resources)
- Diversity Issues (webpage and resources)
The objectives of these seminars included:
- Raising awareness of the key issues relating to Acute Care and availability of current guidance, intelligence, examples of good practice and information sharing.
- Provide examples of operational documents in addition to national and local guidance resources.
