We work with various organisations within the Region that are run by, and cater for the needs of, Users of care services and those who care for them.
Service Users
We have worked consistently onver recent years with the regional organisation Users in Partnership.

INFORMING GENERIC CARERS ABOUT IAPT
Many people face anxiety and depression but receive no help. IAPT aims to make access to therapy easier for those people. New funding will expand and reconfigure primary care therapy services. A further aim is to provide a more ‘holistic’ service rather than ‘pills’.
Family carers are co-providers of the MH service. They have no significant power, but there is considerable moral strength in their position. The brief is concerned with the risk to mental health carers because of the stresses arising from their caring role. It is not about those they care for or day-to-day support.
