Reminder - Early Intevention is best Evidence-Based Reform Strategy in Mental Health

Commissioners please take note!

Professor Patrick McGorry explains how Early Intervention in Pyschosis offers the best chance for young people with Psychosis - is the "most evidence-based reform stratgey in the Mental Health arena" - and therefore a very good deal for Commissioners.

Pat McGorry is Professor of Youth Mental Health at the University of Melbourne,  Clinical Director of ORYGEN Youth Health, and Executive Director of the ORYGEN Research Centre. ORYGEN’s 250 clinical and research staff provide leading expertise in early psychosis, mood, substance use, and personality disorders.

Here, Pat is interviewed by Dr David Shiers, at an event on Commissioning Early Intervention Services, Birmingham (UK) in October 2009.
