DRAFT Regional Offender Health and Social Care Delivery Plan

Our Regional Multi Agency Delivery Plan is now available on this page, we are workign through the very final stages of approval.   The aim of the delivery plan is to agree the key regional priorities, success measures and key organisations involved in the improvement of offender health and social care.  Getting this right will contribute to a reduction in health inequalities, a contribution to PSA targets, a contribution to reducing reoffending and support the principles behind the NHS' QIPP programme.  Click here for the draft strategy.  We anticipate that the approved strategy will be on this webpage very shortly after our next board meeting on April 30th 2010.

Third Sector Offender Mental Health Services Operating in the West Midlands

There are many examples of third sector partnership with the criminal  justice  system, there are also many examples of third sector partnership  with the NHS. When we reviewed the links between health providers in the  criminal justice system and third sector organisations, we found a small  number of  providers within the West Midlands.

The case studies in this report from third sector organisations are well  placed to work with a range of stautory organisations and across all areas  of need for offenders. Please follow the link for further information.

For further Information on the third sector please see here.
