
Sallyann Sutton works as the Targeted Mental Health in Schools (TaMHS) Project Manager for Children, Young People and Families programme, NHS West Midlands Regional Development Centre. Her responsibilities are to provide a support and challenge role to the TaMHS pathfinder programmes within the West Midlands region.
Other Experience
Sallyann qualified as a registered nurse in January 1990. She worked as a clinician with a school health service before taking on the role of clinical team leader in 2002 and qualifying as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse in 2004. Since then Sallyann has completed an MSc in Child and Family Mental and now works as a Young People’s Health Advisor for Emotional Health and Wellbeing. This role includes the development of health promotion initiatives, training and consultation for professionals, contributing to policy and strategy development. Sallyann also continues her clinical work managing a caseload of children and young people who are experiencing mental health problems. Locally she is part of the TaMHS virtual team and is involved in delivery of interventions to TaMHS schools.
