IAPT Training Information

Through the IAPT Programme, competencies and curricula have been developed that will enable graduates to become accredited in the modalities recommended by the NICE guidances for Anxiety and Depression.

For the 2010-11 academic year the following training has been commissioned;

Psychological Well-being Practitioner (PWP)	Birmingham and Black Country Consortium with the University of Birmingham	Commenced December 2010
Supervision of HI and PWP trainees	University of Birmingham	Already delivered
HI top-up	Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre	Already delivered
Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) Practitioner and Supervisor	IPT UK	Applications accepted for Practitioner training  21st to 25th March 2011
Counselling for Depression	British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy	Closing date for applications has passed.
Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy	The Tavistock and Portman Foundation Trust	Closing date for applications has passed.
Couple Therapy	Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships	Closing date for applications has passed.
MHFA for IAPT	Community Links	Already delivered

NHS West Midlands Deanery will be commissioning the above trainings for the 2011-12 academic year.
