Breaking down the Barriers
Improving relationships and partnerships within the Offender Pathway
Breaking down the Barriers Conference took place at the Stadium on the 17th March 2010. We will update this page over the coming days and present the pod casts and powerpoint presentations next to each other. We will also add more from the feedback following the conference. However with Easter looming I wanted to make sure we could provide you with headlines from the feedback straight away. To go straight to the feedback part of this page click here or scroll to the bottom of the page.

Feedback
Many thanks to the 60 respondents who completed the evaluation form. We are all very pleased that they majority of you found it useful or very useful.
We recognised during the conference that the refreshments serving was not ideal, and acknowledge that many of you have commented on that. If we use this venue again we will look to remedy that problem.
In terms of your personal learning, thank-you for your replies, we are glad that you were able to hear directly from Lord Bradley, meet colleagues from across the criminal justice and health sectors and more able to understand their issues.
The evaluation form higlighted the actions people were considering following the conference. To those who have gone back to your organisations to ask questions about what you are doing thank-you, and if you need any assistance then please do contact us.
Finally in your "any other comments", a few asked for the day to be longer, starting at 9.15 and finishing at 4.45. We are unsure about this, but will consider it. If you would like to be part of the planning group for a future conference, you would be most welcome. For this year we were supported by colleagues from BSMHfT, Dudley PCT, Wolverhampton PCT and South Staffs and Shrops Mental Health Foundation Trust.
